Trip to Ivrea for the Carnival (battle of the oranges) 
Come and join one of the biggest festival in the Northern Italian city of Ivrea to discover a very old and unique Italian tradition! It is the largest food fight in Europe where organized groups re-enacts the rebellion against the overlord’s army.  
 
 Come with ESN Torino to discover Ivrea’s traditions and live the magic atmosphere of this unusual Carnival with us. 
 
When: Sunday, 23rd February 2020
Meeting point and hour: 9:00am at Train station Porta Nuova in front of McDonald’s (Look for the ESN Torino flag)

**DEADLINE for payments: 21st February**
 
OUTFIT: it’s better to wear waterproof and easy-to-wash clothes and shoes because there will be a lots of oranges on the ground. As the tradition says who wants to take part in the carnival MUST wear a red hat. If you don’t want to be hit, you will have to wear it all the time!
