Salone del libro

Salone internazionale del libro is one of the most important event about publishing in Italy and the second one in Europe.You can see lots of books but the main point are the different activities presented, such as lectures, books presentations and several educational activities.  It was born in 1988 and every year it takes place in Turin at Lingotto Fiere, in May. As it is known in Europe, since 2001 organizers have hosted one or more european states, for example this year Ireland  and Canada are the special guests. Plus, every year the promoter association choose a specific topic to show during the exhibition, this year “Other life-forms” is the protagonist. Turin people are so proud of this event as an identifying sign of the city. Unfortunately this year, ‘cause of Covid-19, the 33rd edition is transmitted in live streaming.
